I have become a Gap super fan. I recently went in there because I became instantly obsessed with their new ad campaign, check it out here if you haven't seen it, and I had to have a pair of the bell jeans that I saw plastered all over Manhattan. The jeans are fabulous (I am wearing them right now) and for the first time since I used to fold t-shirts at my local Gap when I was in high school, Gap actually has some interesting things happening. We blogged about their fall runway show earlier this year and I am happy to report that the ready-to-wear opitons are equally as compelling. They are edgy, but casual, or as their new tagline so perfectly states they are "The New Classics, inspired by the originals, redesigned for today." I think Gap may have FINALLY figured it out. And furthermore, the 5th Avenue flagship store is doing a collaboration with French boutique Colette in the form of a pop up shop. Talk about being cutting edge and cool. Who knew Gap had it in them!
