Bite-Sized Delight

The cupcake craze is definitely past its prime, but who can resist something cute and delicious that is so small you won't feel bad about eating one (or three). These bite-sized cupcakes from Baked by Melissa are awesome. We had the full variety in the office today to celebrate a birthday and I'm planning to pick up a dozen for Triple-C party tonight (champagne, cheese and cupcakes.) Some of the little cakes are even stuffed with frosting. YUM!

There is a walk-up window at Spring and Broadway (SoHo) and a box of six will cost you $5.50.

Maui Babe

Anyone who didn't get some sun this weekend should probably stay far far away from me as I am as tan as......another race. For reals, I am a really dark version of myself. A happier, tanner, glowing version of myself. My sister swears by this lotion Maui Babe to keep the bronze as long as possible. She was in a sharing mood yesterday and let me lather up in the sweet smelling stuff from Hawaii. This After Sun Lotion keeps your skin soft and supple and I'm ordering my own bottle to avoid an ashy, leathery look in my future as a professional sunbather.

Strappy Sandal

Thank god for Target.com, without which I would not be privvy to all the fabulous finds Target has to offer. Like these ADORABLE sandals, for only $25. Target, I love you.

Sun Shield

Brook Shields may be hocking everything from prescription eye lash growers to toothpaste, but that doesn't mean I won't take the word of my favorite spokesperson for EVERYTHING and try out the new Coppertone Sunscreen she's raving about. 4th of July weekend is almost here (hooray!) and forecast looks good for those of us in the north east (double hooray!) so it's finally time to invest in some sunscreen. Sure, there are a zillion brands out there, that all do basically the same things, but I'm a sucker for antioxidants, and wrinkle protection (and Brook Shields, of course), so I'll buying some Nutra Shield before my weekend of fun in the sun.

Positively Pom

Orbit has long been my favorite brand of gum because they understand flavors. They don't just sell your typical breath fresheners, they take it one step further with flavors like bubblemint, rasberrymint, maui melon mint, and my new personal fave positively pomegranate. It's one of their new flavors and it might seriously be the best gum ever. Check out their site for all their newest taste sensations.
